to lead the crisis response divisions at Kroll,
Aegis and GardaWorld. Before founding Alisca,
John was a Partner at Schillings Law firm specialising in reputation management during a crisis.
His expertise is in advising families, governments and multinational organisations on how to effectively prepare and respond to incidents of kidnap, illegal detention, piracy, extortion, blackmail and cyber threats.
John utilisises his extensive international experience and expertise to provide clear and practical guidance to ensure clients are able to restore calm and order in a fast moving crisis.
A former senior officer of the Metropolitan Police UK and a Fullbright scholar in Organised Crime, Neil served in Counter Terrorism Command before leading the Hostage and Crisis Negotiation Unit based in New Scotland Yard.
Neil was a senior adviser to UK Prime Ministers 2009 - 2019 on terrorist and criminal inspired kidnaps and other crises and participated in
numerous COBR meetings.
Neil has extensive experience in kidnap, piracy, extortion, blackmail and cyber threats, and has lead deployments globally targeting terrorist, criminal and state sponsored threats.
A former British Army Officer, Nick was Head of Kroll’s Saudi office focusing on MENA, and subsequently served as senior representative to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Finmeccanica, where he specialised in international security, risk, intelligence, logistics and solutions for governments and multinationals.
Nick is a graduate of both Sandhurst and Instituto de Estudos Superiores Militares (IESM) and has a post graduate degree in security and
risk management from the SCARMAN Centre.
